We construct the complete and explicit non-linear Kaluza-Klein ansatz for deriving the bosonic sector of N=4 SU(2)\times U(1) gauged five-dimensional supergravity from the reduction of type IIB supergravity on S^5. This provides the first complete example of such an S^5 reduction that includes non-abelian gauge fields, and it allows any bosonic solution of the five-dimensional N=4 gauged theory to be embedded in D=10.

  1. Consistent Warped $\mathbb R\times T^{1,1}$ Reduction of Heterotic Supergravity

    hep-th 2025-01 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A warped R × T^{1,1} vacuum of heterotic supergravity preserves 1/4 supersymmetry and reduces consistently to N=1, D=4 supergravity with SU(2)×SU(2) Yang-Mills fields of geometric origin.

  2. (Iso)spin from Isospin in Top-Down Holography

    hep-th 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Supergravity backgrounds with monopoles on S2 exhibit diagonal symmetry upon uplift, causing SU(2)-SO(3) angular momentum mixing in fluctuations analogous to the Jackiw-Rebbi-Hasenfratz-'t Hooft effect.

  3. Type IIB Supergravity Action and Holography

    hep-th 2026-03 accept novelty 5.5 of 10

A milder topological correction to the PST Type IIB action yields non-vanishing on-shell values matching holography for Lunin-Maldacena and AdS4 S-fold backgrounds.

  4. Holographic reconstruction for defect CFTs from $\mathrm{AdS}_p \times S^q$ spacetimes

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Derives holographic one-point functions, stress tensor and Ward identities for defects in AdS5 and AdS6 from AdS2×S2, AdS2×S3 and AdS3×S2 backgrounds in Romans supergravity.
