We construct a large family of supergravity solutions that describe BPS excitations on AdS_3 x S^3 with angular momentum on S^3. These solutions take into account the full backreaction on the metric. We find that as we increase the energy of the excitation, the energy gap to the next non-BPS excitation decreases. These solutions can be viewed as Kaluza-Klein monopole ``supertubes'' which are completely non-singular geometries. We also make some remarks on supertubes in general.

  1. Berry Picking: Random Wave Chaos Hierarchy for BPS Microstate Geometries

    hep-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Wave chaos in BPS microstate geometries strengthens toward black-hole-like throats while geodesic chaos weakens, and weak-coupling CFT Renyi entropies do not share that bulk hierarchy.

  2. Complex BPS Black Holes in AdS$_3\times S^3$

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Constructs complex BTZ x S3 saddles for the supersymmetric index in AdS3 x S3 supergravity, matching supersymmetry requirements through two-center 4D solutions with complex charges and 6D black strings.

  3. The On-shell Gravity Action and Linear Dilaton Holography

    hep-th 2025-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The Euclidean on-shell action for linear-dilaton three-dimensional string backgrounds yields a spacetime mass whose square-root form matches the TT-deformed CFT energy formula.

  4. BPS Fivebrane Stars III: Effective Actions

    hep-th 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

An NS5-brane plus supergravity effective action reproduces BPS supertube solutions with transverse and internal modes and yields new correlation functions of density and graviton fluctuations.

  5. Interpolating between multi-center microstate geometries

    hep-th 2021-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Constructs a 2-center helical-profile solution that interpolates between two circular-profile Lunin-Mathur microstate geometries while exhibiting charge delocalization and transfer between centers.
