We perform a systematic study of the phenomenology associated to models where the dark matter consists in the neutral component of a scalar SU(2)_L n-uplet, up to n=7. If one includes only the pure gauge induced annihilation cross-sections it is known that such particles provide good dark matter candidates, leading to the observed dark matter relic abundance for a particular value of their mass around the TeV scale. We show that these values actually become ranges of values -which we determine- if one takes into account the annihilations induced by the various scalar couplings appearing in these models. This leads to predictions for both direct and indirect detection signatures as a function of the dark matter mass within these ranges. Both can be largely enhanced by the quartic coupling contributions. We also explain how, if one adds right-handed neutrinos to the scalar doublet case, the results of this analysis allow to have altogether a viable dark matter candidate, successful generation of neutrino masses, and leptogenesis in a particularly minimal way with all new physics at the TeV scale.

    hep-ph 2025-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Future Tera-Z runs at FCC-ee/CEPC could indirectly probe TeV-scale t-channel dark matter portals through one-loop and two-loop electroweak precision shifts, and in leptophilic models would be the only planned experime...

    hep-ph 2025-05 accept novelty 7.0 of 10

Decays of heavy relic particles into neutrinos are far more constrained by Big Bang nucleosynthesis than previously thought, once neutrino-neutrino scattering and hadrodisintegration are included.

  3. Spontaneous Scoto-leptogenesis

    hep-ph 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A rolling Majoron from broken global B-L symmetry generates the baryon asymmetry at TeV-scale right-handed neutrino masses in the scotogenic model, consistent with neutrino and dark matter constraints.

  4. Minimal Dark Matter: Generalized Framework and Direct-Detection Sensitivity

    hep-ph 2026-02 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

For Higgs-coupled minimal dark matter, the 3M2D, 5M4D, and 7M6D combinations can have direct-detection cross sections below the neutrino floor, so next-generation direct detection cannot fully exclude the model.

    hep-ph 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

TeV-scale leptogenesis in the scotogenic model is viable with proper treatment of spectator processes, yielding benchmark points that reproduce the baryon asymmetry and predict observable CLFV rates.
