Precision electroweak data presently favors a weakly-coupled Higgs sector as the mechanism responsible for electroweak symmetry breaking. Low-energy supersymmetry provides a natural framework for weakly-coupled elementary scalars. In this review, we summarize the theoretical properties of the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson and the Higgs sector of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (MSSM). We then survey the phenomenology of the SM and MSSM Higgs bosons at the Tevatron, LHC and a future e+e- linear collider. We focus on the Higgs discovery potential of present and future colliders and stress the importance of precision measurements of Higgs boson properties.

  1. Can blind spots save neutralino dark matter in natural supersymmetry models?

    hep-ph 2026-07 accept novelty 5.0 of 10

Direct-detection blind spots fail to rescue stable light higgsino dark matter in electroweak-natural NUHM2/NUHM3 models once LZ, LHC soft-dilepton, and Higgs-mass constraints are imposed.

  2. Search for the nonresonant production of a pair of additional Higgs bosons in the Type-X two-Higgs-doublet model in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV

    hep-ex 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

No evidence found for additional Higgs boson pairs in Type-X 2HDM; new limits exclude the model for explaining the muon anomalous magnetic moment anomaly.

  3. Dark Matter and CP Violation in Some Symmetry-Constrained 3HDMs

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

S3-symmetric three-Higgs-doublet models allow dark matter in a 29-42 GeV window, exclude heavy candidates above 500 GeV, and admit MeV-scale light scalars, while continuous-symmetry variants produce mass-degenerate da...
