In Co-nanotubes with a curling magnetization, the orbital motion of the conduction electrons interacts with their spin. We predict that the (absolute) value of the magnetic energy of the spin is strongly reduced. The new precession axis for the spin is almost parallel to the axis of the nanotube and precesses with the angular velocity of the electron. The physics of the ferromagnet is considerably modified.
