In this paper, we derive a novel Schwarzschild-like black hole (BH) solution describing a static and asymptotically flat BH surrounded by a dark matter (DM) halo with a Dehnen-type density distribution in the surrounding environment. We investigate the properties of the obtained BH by studying the curvature properties and energy conditions in Einstein gravity. Furthermore, we explore the features of a novel Schwarzschild-like BH embedded in a DM halo with Dehnen-type density profile by analyzing the timelike geodesics of particles along with BH observable properties.

  1. A Novel Kerr-like Black Hole in a General Double Power Law Dark Matter Environment: Geometry, Spectroscopy, and Energy Extraction

    gr-qc 2026-08 reject novelty 5.0 of 10

The paper presents a Newman-Janis rotating black hole in a double power law dark matter halo, with analytic scalar spectra, but the claimed singularity removal for gamma <= 2 is not established because the ring singul...

  2. Extreme-Mass-Ratio Inspirals Embedded in Dark Matter Halo: Existence of Homoclinic Orbit and Horizon-Induced Chaos

    gr-qc 2025-11 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A Schwarzschild black hole embedded in a Dehnen dark-matter halo admits homoclinic orbits, and raising halo density, scale radius, or particle energy drives near-horizon motion from regular to chaotic while respecting...

  3. A Self-Consistent Exact Solution from Einstein Gravity: Black Hole in King $\left(2,3,0\right)$ Dark Matter Halos

    gr-qc 2026-07 conditional novelty 4.5 of 10

An exact Schwarzschild-like black hole embedded in a King dark-matter halo is obtained from Einstein’s equations and shown to enlarge the photon sphere, shadow, and thermodynamic stability region relative to vacuum.

  4. Spontaneous scalarization around a black hole in a dark matter halo

    gr-qc 2026-07 reject novelty 4.0 of 10

A Hernquist dark-matter halo is claimed to scalarize a central black hole, with the coupling quantized as η_n = −(n+1/2)²π³/(2C), but the mechanism requires ρ−p>0 while the paper's own formulas give ρ−p<0.

  5. Schwarzschild-like Black Holes Submerged in an Exponential Density Dark Matter Profile

    gr-qc 2026-07 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

An analytic Schwarzschild-like metric with an exponential dark matter halo is constructed and its shadows, quasi-normal modes, and greybody bounds are computed, though several derived expressions have sign errors.

  6. Tuning A Rotating Black Hole Spectrum with Dark Matter Halo: Quasibound States, Scalar Cloud, Black Hole Bomb and Superradiant Scattering

    gr-qc 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

For a rotating black hole in a Dehnen dark matter halo, the scalar quasibound spectrum is the Kerr hydrogenic spectrum with a halo-shifted effective mass, and the superradiant window narrows through a halo-modified ho...

  7. Plasma effects on gravitational lensing and shadow observables of a Kerr-like black hole in a dark matter halo

    gr-qc 2026-03 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Homogeneous plasma enlarges Kerr-like black-hole shadows and emission rates while inhomogeneous plasma shrinks them; astrophysical dark-matter densities leave photon orbits essentially unchanged.

  8. Quasinormal Modes of Schwarzschild Black Holes in the Dehnen-(1, 4, 5/2) Type Dark Matter Halos

    gr-qc 2025-05 reject novelty 4.0 of 10

Quasinormal mode frequencies of a Schwarzschild black hole in a Dehnen-(1,4,5/2) dark matter halo are computed and found to decrease as halo density or core radius increases, with stability preserved.

  9. Periodic orbits and their gravitational wave radiations in black hole with dark matter halo

    gr-qc 2025-02 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

A Hernquist-like dark matter halo changes the energies, angular momenta, and gravitational waveforms of periodic orbits around a supermassive black hole, compared with vacuum Schwarzschild.

  10. New analytical model of rotating black hole with dark matter halo: constraints from EHT observations and accretion disk

    gr-qc 2025-08 reject novelty 3.0 of 10

A Newman-Janis rotation of a Dehnen dark-matter-halo black hole gives shadow sizes matching EHT images only when halo density and scale parameters are relatively high.
