abstract

The CFT dual of string theory on $\mathrm{AdS}_3 \times \mathrm{S}^3 \times \mathrm{S}^3 \times \mathrm{S}^1$ is conjectured to be the symmetric orbifold of the $\mathcal{S}_\kappa$ theory, provided that one of the two $Q_5^\pm$ quantum numbers is a multiple of the other. We determine the BPS spectrum of the symmetric orbifold in detail, and show that it reproduces precisely the BPS spectrum that was recently calculated in supergravity. We also determine the BPS spectrum of the world-sheet theory that is formulated in terms of WZW models, and show that, apart from some gaps (which are reminiscent of those that appear in the corresponding $\mathbb{T}^4$ calculation), it also reproduces this BPS spectrum. In fact, the matching seems to work as well as for the familiar $\mathbb{T}^4$ case, and thus our results give strong support for this proposal.

    hep-th 2025-11 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Weighted projective spaces WCP² and WCP³ can be made supersymmetric for tuned integer weights, yielding new AdS₅×WCP²×S¹, AdS₄×WCP³, and AdS₃×WT(1,1) supergravity solutions.

    hep-th 2025-09 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A dissertation extends the integrability correspondence between lattice models and fishnet Feynman graphs to fermionic, supersymmetric, and boundary cases, yielding new exact critical couplings and a conjectured box p...

  3. Covering space maps for $n$-point functions with three long twists

    hep-th 2025-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Explicit covering-space maps for three long twists plus any number of twist-2 operators are constructed, yielding closed-form four- and five-point bare twist correlators in the ΔN=1,2 cases.

  4. Non-supersymmetric strings on AdS$_3$: a world-sheet perspective

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

On AdS3×S3×S3×S1, a Wilson-line deformation of the Spin(16)×Spin(16)⋊Z2 heterotic string produces a level-matched tachyon, so the classical moduli space contains unstable regions.

  5. Strings and near-extremal black holes in theories with large $\mathcal{N}=4$ superconformal symmetry

    hep-th 2025-05 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A one-loop worldsheet computation on AdS3×S3×S3×S1 recovers the supergravity spectrum and boundary currents, yields a temperature-dependent BPS index for near-extremal BTZ black holes, and suggests non-unique worldshe...

  6. An Introduction to String Newton-Cartan Holography and Integrability

    hep-th 2026-03 accept novelty 3.0 of 10

String Newton-Cartan holography, the non-relativistic limit of the AdS/CFT correspondence, is organized and reviewed around five consistency conditions, with its classical solutions, spectrum, and integrability structure.
