The Forward Physics Facility (FPF) is a proposal to create a cavern with the space and infrastructure to support a suite of far-forward experiments at the Large Hadron Collider during the High Luminosity era. Located along the beam collision axis and shielded from the interaction point by at least 100 m of concrete and rock, the FPF will house experiments that will detect particles outside the acceptance of the existing large LHC experiments and will observe rare and exotic processes in an extremely low-background environment. In this work, we summarize the current status of plans for the FPF, including recent progress in civil engineering in identifying promising sites for the FPF and the experiments currently envisioned to realize the FPF's physics potential. We then review the many Standard Model and new physics topics that will be advanced by the FPF, including searches for long-lived particles, probes of dark matter and dark sectors, high-statistics studies of TeV neutrinos of all three flavors, aspects of perturbative and non-perturbative QCD, and high-energy astroparticle physics.

  1. Vector dark matter with non-abelian kinetic mixing

    hep-ph 2025-10 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A four-boson dark sector with one non-abelian kinetic-mixing operator can produce the observed dark-matter abundance by freeze-out, freeze-in, or 3-to-2 annihilations, with a dark-photon mediator almost degenerate wit...

  2. Emerging Photon Jets in the Hadronic Calorimeter: A Novel Signature of Neutral Long-Lived Particles at the LHC

    hep-ph 2025-04 reject novelty 6.0 of 10

A new 'emerging photon jet' signature in the hadronic calorimeter could make neutral long-lived particles decaying to photons visible at the HL-LHC.

  3. The LHC as a TeV Muon Beam Dump: Muonphilic Scalars at FASER

    hep-ph 2025-01 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

FASER and FASER2 could probe unconstrained muonphilic scalar masses below the dimuon threshold, including the (g-2)_mu favored region, using diphoton and muon-plus-diphoton signals.

  4. Flavor at FASER: Discovering Light Scalars Beyond Minimal Flavor Violation

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Flavored scalar models with a Froggatt-Nielsen symmetry make D-meson decays a major production source for long-lived scalars at FASER/FASER2, with reach presented model-independently in branching fraction and lifetime...

  5. Neutrino-Portal Dark Matter Detection Prospects at a Future Muon Collider

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

  6. Hadron production in the charged current semi-inclusive deeply inelastic scattering of $N=Z$ nuclei

    hep-ph 2024-11 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

The pion yield asymmetry in charged-current neutrino SIDIS of N=Z nuclei is predicted to be nearly independent of the nucleus type and sensitive to sea-quark and disfavored-fragmentation inputs.

  7. Study of sub-GeV Dipolar Dark States at SND@LHC within Invisible Bounds on Meson Decays

    hep-ph 2026-01 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

SND@LHC could probe sub-GeV dark matter with electric/magnetic dipole moments in parts of parameter space not yet excluded, especially around 0.5 MeV in HL-LHC, but existing LEP and CHARM II bounds remain tighter in m...
