We explore the neutrino portal dark matter (DM) at its minimum of field content having two dark sector particles coupled to a right-handed neutrino. Assuming the feeble nature of their interactions with the standard model (SM) particles, we analyze the freeze-in production of the observed DM relic density characterized by three different categories depending on the major production mechanisms. The portal provides interesting signatures at the neutrino detectors like KamLAND, Super-Kamiokande and IceCube, from a very late decay of the scalar DM to the fermion DM and the SM neutrino. Such neutrino flux spectrum from the cosmic and galactic origins can produce anomalous signals at future experiments.

  1. Cosmological Histories in Neutrino Portal Dark Matter

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A neutrino portal dark sector with mN < mχ < mϕ can be populated by freeze-out, freeze-in, double freeze-in, or by forming a separate cold dark thermal bath, depending on the two portal couplings.

  2. Seesaw Portal to Super Heavy Dark Matter with $Z_3$ Symmetry

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Adding Z3 symmetry to the seesaw portal allows the dark scalar to decay promptly to dark matter, evading BBN limits for the m_N>m_phi mass ordering.

  3. Effective theory of light Dirac neutrino portal dark matter with observable ${\Delta N_{\rm eff}}$

    hep-ph 2025-02 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A dark matter candidate interacting only with right-handed neutrinos is shown to produce ΔNeff ≥ 0.21, testable by future CMB experiments.
