Perturbative calculations with unstable particles require the inclusion of their finite decay widths. A convenient, universal scheme for this purpose is the complex-mass scheme. It fully respects gauge-invariance, is straight-forward to apply, and has been successfully used for the calculation of various tree-level processes and of the electroweak radiative corrections to e+ e- -> 4f and H -> 4f.

    hep-ph 2026-07 unverdicted novelty 7.0

First NLO electroweak corrections to doubly polarised ZZ vector-boson scattering at the LHC computed in the double-pole approximation with factorisable real and virtual corrections.

  2. Complete NLO corrections to off-shell $\boldsymbol{t\bar{t}}$ production in the $\boldsymbol{\ell+j}$ decay channel

    hep-ph 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Complete NLO QCD plus EW corrections are calculated for off-shell ttbar production in the lepton-plus-jets channel, including all doubly, singly and non-resonant diagrams with their interferences.

  3. Slepton pair production at next-to-leading power

    hep-ph 2025-10 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Evaluates next-to-leading power threshold corrections for slepton pair production and finds them significant compared to leading power NLL terms, with underestimated scale errors for large masses.
