A new parameterization for an effective non-linear Lagrangian density of relativistic mean field (RMF) theory is proposed, which is able to provide an excellent description not only for the properties of stable nuclei but also for those far from the valley of beta-stability. In addition recently measured superdeformed mimima in the Hg-region are reproduced with high accuracy.

  1. NNStar: An end-to-end AI agent for nuclear matter and neutron star physics

    nucl-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

NNStar packages the RMF-to-neutron-star pipeline as a portable LLM-agent skill, validated on TM1/NL3/FSU-δ6.7 and demonstrated by an autonomous σ6-extended TM1 fit.

  2. A relativistic mechanism for the enhanced isovector spin-orbit interaction suggested by parity-violating electron scattering experiments

    nucl-th 2025-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

An enhanced isovector tensor coupling in a covariant density functional fits both PREX-II and CREX weak-charge form-factor differences, acting through a strong isovector spin-orbit interaction.

  3. Density dependent speed of sound and its consequences in neutron stars

    nucl-th 2025-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A three-parameter speed-of-sound model reproduces relativistic mean-field neutron-star equations of state and produces curvature and trace-anomaly sign changes without any phase transition.

  4. Nuclear incompressibility and fourth moment of the nuclear density in Skyrme functionals

    nucl-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

R4/R2 measured to 0.5% in 48Ca or 208Pb could constrain the subsaturation-density curvature K(0.08 fm^-3) of symmetric nuclear matter to within 20 MeV, based on a 100-model Skyrme correlation analysis.

  5. Relativistic Mean Field Approach with Chiral Symmetry Breaking and Quark Confinement in the light of Astrophysical Observations

    nucl-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

RMF-CC models with ωρ coupling better match multi-messenger NS data and LQCD/NEP constraints than the baseline, yet standard RMF remains preferred without core phase transitions, requiring high Ksat ~300 MeV.

  6. Bayesian analysis of density profile of light dark matter elucidating the properties of dark matter admixed neutron stars in the presence of hyperons

    nucl-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Bayesian analysis finds that the likely ranges of light dark-matter fermion mass and exponential density-profile parameter in hyperon-containing neutron stars are nearly independent of the hadronic model for symmetry-...

  7. Isentropic thermodynamics across the hadron-quark mixed phase in a two-phase model with a PNJL quark description

    hep-ph 2026-03 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

In a two-phase RMF+PNJL model, isentropic trajectories through the hadron-quark mixed phase heat at low entropy per baryon and cool near the critical end point, with entropy-dependent speed-of-sound structures.

  8. Bulk viscosity from neutron decays to dark baryons in neutron star matter

    astro-ph.HE 2025-09 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Neutron dark decays modify the equation of state and either mildly suppress or strongly enhance bulk viscosity in neutron star merger conditions, depending on the in-medium decay rate.

  9. Bayesian analysis of the shear modulus in the neutron-star crust

    astro-ph.HE 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

Bayesian modeling with informed priors reduces uncertainties in neutron-star crust shear properties, predicting torsional mode frequencies of 20-50 Hz compatible with observations.

  10. Effect of Dark matter and $\sigma$-cut potential on radial and non-radial oscillation modes in neutron stars

    astro-ph.HE 2025-07 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Dark matter-admixed neutron stars oscillate at higher f- and p1-mode frequencies than ordinary or σ-cut models, while quasi-universal oscillation relations still hold.
