Asymmetric statistical errors arise for experimental results obtained by Maximum Likelihood estimation, in cases where the number of results is finite and the log likelihood function is not a symmetric parabola. This note discusses how separate asymmetric errors on a single result should be combined, and how several results with asymmetric errors should be combined to give an overall measurement. In the process it considers several methods for parametrising curves that are approximately parabolic.

Searches for CE{\nu}NS and Physics beyond the Standard Model using Skipper-CCDs at CONNIE
CONNIE's first Skipper-CCD run at Angra-2 yields no CEνNS excess, comparable prior limits on neutrino rates, improved bounds on light vector mediators, and record surface DM-electron limits via diurnal modulation.

Charting the expansion of the Universe from z$\sim$0 to z$\sim$14 with HII galaxies
Using the HII-galaxy luminosity–velocity-dispersion relation, the authors extend the Hubble diagram to z≈14 and derive h=0.725±0.040, Ωm=0.308, and w consistent with ΛCDM.

An Increase in the Galactic Planet Host Fraction Fails to Reproduce the Galactic Height Trend in Planet Occurrence
Time-dependent increases in the planet host fraction cannot reproduce the steep decline in small-planet occurrence with Galactic height seen by Kepler and K2.
