Single and Double BFKL Pomeron Exchange and a Dipole Picture of High Energy Hard Processes
Mixed citation behavior. Most common role is method (60%).
abstract
Onium-onium scattering at high energy is used to illustrate a dipole picture of high energy hard scattering in the large $N_c$ limit. Single and double BFKL pomeron exchanges are calculated in the leading logarithmic approximation. An expression is given for the triple pomeron coupling when one of the pomeron's momentum is zero while the other two have momentum transfer, t. This expression is explicit and could be evaluated numerically. It has a $(-t)^{-{1\over 2}}$ singularity at t=0.

Exact q qbar g contribution to diffractive DIS structure functions in the dipole model shows prior high-Q2 and high-MX2 approximations are inadequate and that soft quark terms are comparably important at high Q2.
A Bayesian global fit at full NLO+NLL accuracy extracts the posterior distribution for the non-perturbative initial condition of the NLO Balitsky-Kovchegov equation from HERA inclusive and charm data.
In a gluon spectator model at small x, the normalized Husimi distribution yields a Wehrl entropy that decomposes into an entanglement entropy term matching CMS data and a transverse residual term.
Replacing the rapidity argument of the dipole amplitude with ln min{1/|x|, 1/|ξ|} and refining initial conditions for non-linear evolution can eliminate two R-factors in small-x shockwave calculations.
A suppression factor R_G=0.85 is tuned to F2 and rho photoproduction data and used to predict observables for rho(2S), omega, and phi states via holographic wave functions in the dipole picture.
Review summarizing observed cold nuclear matter modifications in hadron-nucleus collision data and proposing experimental strategies for the EIC to clarify underlying QCD mechanisms.
