  1. Non-Invertible Selection Rules on Heterotic Non-Abelian Orbifolds

    hep-th 2025-09 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Non-Abelian orbifolds in heterotic string theory produce non-invertible coupling selection rules, since twisted sectors are labeled by conjugacy classes whose products contain multiple classes and yield characteristic...

  2. Non-Abelian orbifolds of the SO(32) heterotic string

    hep-th 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Three non-Abelian orbifolds of the SO(32) heterotic string now have complete massless spectra, with unbroken gauge groups U(1)^2 x SO(26), U(1) x SO(26), and SO(26), showing rank reduction from 16 to 15, 14, or 13.
