We study asymptotic charges associated to a spin-zero analogue of Weinberg's soft photon and graviton theorems in even dimensions. Simple spacetime expressions for the charges are given, but unlike gravity or electrodynamics, the symmetry interpretation for the charges remains elusive. This work is a higher dimensional extension of the four dimensional case studied in arXiv:1703.07885 .

  1. geoSCET: Soft Theorems from Power Counting

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 8.0 of 10

geoSCET derives geometric soft theorems for scalar field theories directly from effective-field-theory power counting and proves they are exact to all orders in perturbation theory when no potential is present.

  2. Geometry of soft scalars at one loop

    hep-th 2025-04 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

The geometric soft theorem for scalar effective field theories is unchanged at one loop in derivative-coupled theories, and receives a universal leading correction when potential interactions are present.
