We study physical properties of a Schwarzschild-type black hole in the framework of the recently proposed Starobinsky-Bel-Robinson (SBR) modified theory of gravity, working perturbatively in the new coupling constant. In particular, we compute the temperature, entropy, pressure and lifetime of a Schwarzschild-type black hole.

  1. On the stability of de Sitter inflationary solution in the Starobinsky-Bel-Robinson gravity

    gr-qc 2025-07 conditional novelty 2.0 of 10

The exact de Sitter solution of Starobinsky-Bel-Robinson gravity is fixed by the quartic Bel-Robinson coupling alone and is an unstable saddle point for the physically allowed positive sign of the R^2 coefficient.
