In the two-Higgs-doublet model, different Higgs doublets can be viewed as components of a generic "hyperspinor". We decompose the Higgs potential of this model into irreducible representations of the SU(2) group of transformations of this hyperspinor. We discuss invariant combinations of the Higgs potential parameters lambda_i that arise in this decomposition and provide simple and concise sets of conditions for the hidden Z_2-symmetry, Peccei-Quinn symmetry, and explicit CP-conservation in 2HDM. We show that some results obtained previously by brute-force calculations are reduced to simple linear algebraic statements in our approach.

  1. The Hilbert Series and the Flavor Invariants of the 3HDM

    hep-th 2026-04 conditional novelty 6.0

The full multigraded Hilbert series of the 3HDM is computed in closed form, and a basis of SU(3)-invariant operators is constructed up to cubic order in the quartic couplings.

  2. GOOFy fermions

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

New fermion transformations and all-order renormalization-invariant parameter regions are identified for two-Higgs-doublet models including scalar-fermion interactions.

  3. Constraints on Loryons in a Two Higgs Doublet Model

    hep-ph 2026-01 conditional novelty 6.0

In a two-Higgs-doublet model, neutral singlet scalar Loryons remain viable up to about 700 GeV, while charged Loryon representations are strongly constrained by unitarity and Higgs-to-diphoton measurements.

  4. Systematic analysis of 3HDM symmetries

    hep-ph 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0

A systematic catalogue of realisable Higgs-family, general-CP, and GOOFy/T-GOOFy symmetries in three-Higgs-doublet models, with new invariant potentials and a corrected U(1)◦V4 group structure.

  5. The Hilbert Series and the Flavor Invariants of the 3HDM

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Hilbert series for 3HDM global symmetries is computed with explicit invariants constructed up to cubic order.

  6. Imaginary scaling invariance of the one-loop effective potential

    hep-ph 2025-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0

The r0 symmetry is preserved at one-loop in the r0-invariant two-Higgs Doublet Model if the UV cutoff squared transforms non-trivially under r0; the minimal model requires two real fields.
