Within the Euclidean path integral and mass perturbation theory we derive, from the Dyson-Schwinger equations of the massive Schwinger model, a general formula that incorporates, for sufficiently small fermion mass, all the bound-state mass poles of the massive Schwinger model. As an illustration we perturbatively compute the masses of the three lowest bound states.

    hep-ph 2025-09 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

In the 1+1D massive Schwinger model, tensor network simulation of a localized excitation reveals Bjorken-like hydrodynamic flow for small fermion mass, but not for large mass.

    hep-ph 2025-09 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Tensor-network simulations of the massive Schwinger model show Bjorken-like hydrodynamics at small m/g and sharp dynamical order parameters marking the parity-breaking phase transition near m/g=0.33 at θ=π.
