Higgs boson production via weak boson fusion at the CERN Large Hadron Collider has the capability to determine the dominant CP nature of a Higgs boson, via the tensor structure of its coupling to weak bosons. This information is contained in the azimuthal angle distribution of the two outgoing forward tagging jets. The technique is independent of both the Higgs boson mass and the observed decay channel.

Signed neural control variates from normalizing flows, combined with neural importance sampling, reduce weight ranges and negative weights for LO and NLO phase-space integration and event generation.

  2. Future Collider Perspectives on Higgs CP Violation

    hep-ph 2025-11 conditional novelty 5.0

Simulated future-collider studies project that FCC-ee and FCC-hh could constrain CP-violating Higgs EFT couplings 10-100 times more tightly than the HL-LHC, with the proton-proton machine strongest overall.

Updated constraints from the full Run 2 dataset show no evidence for anomalous Higgs couplings in gluon fusion, vector boson fusion, and associated production modes decaying to two photons.
