The excessiveness of integration-by-part (IBP) identities is discussed. The Lie-algebraic structure of the IBP identities is used to reduce the number of the IBP equations to be considered. It is shown that Lorentz-invariance (LI) identities do not bring any information additional to that contained in the IBP identities, and therefore, can be discarded.

  1. Efficient AI-Inspired Reduction of Feynman Integrals via Tube Seeding

    hep-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 8.0

Machine learning discovers a tube-seeding strategy for IBP reduction of Feynman integrals that scales linearly with numerator power, demonstrated on rank-20 2-loop 5-point integrals.

  2. On the spanning cuts consistency problem in the IBP reductions of Feynman integrals

    hep-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Inconsistency in spanning cuts for IBP reductions arises because cuts can make hidden terms in IBP relations finite via pinch singularities that cancel vanishing parameters, linked to hidden linear relations between p...
