abstract

We present for the first time the inclusive cross section for associated Higgs boson production with a massive gauge boson at next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order in QCD. Furthermore, we introduce n3loxs, a public, numerical program for the evaluation of inclusive cross sections at the third order in the strong coupling constant. Our tool allows to derive predictions for charged- and neutral-current Drell-Yan production, gluon- and bottom-quark-fusion Higgs boson production and Higgs boson associated production with a heavy gauge boson. We discuss perturbative and parton distribution function (PDF) uncertainties of the aforementioned processes. We perform a comparison of global PDF sets for a variety of process including associated Higgs boson production and observe $1\sigma$ deviations among predictions for several processes.

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

NNLOCAL is the first public implementation of a completely local analytic NNLO subtraction scheme for hadron collisions, validated on gluon-only Higgs production.

  3. Precise predictions for double Higgs production in association with a vector boson in Effective Field Theory

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

First NNLO QCD cross sections for pp→Vhh in SMEFT and HEFT, provided as interpolated coefficients; W±hh K-factors are almost EFT-independent while Zhh is sensitive to gluon-initiated contributions.

  4. An Optimal Transportation Approach for Improved Confidence Intervals

    stat.ME 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Optimal-transport couplings are used to construct confidence intervals that reduce coverage error relative to classical quantile-based intervals, with consistency theory and data-driven hyperparameters.

  5. Assessing the Impact of Fitting Methodology at aN$^3$LO with FPPDF: an Open Source Tool for Extracting Parton Distribution Functions in the Hessian Approach

    hep-ph 2026-02 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

FPPDF, a new public Hessian PDF fitting code, shows that the relative impact of aN3LO corrections and missing higher-order uncertainties on PDFs is insensitive to whether a fixed polynomial or neural-network parameter...

  6. Search for a Higgs boson produced in association with a charm quark and decaying to a W boson pair in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV

    hep-ex 2025-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The first search for a Higgs boson produced with a charm quark and decaying to a W-boson pair sees no excess, and combined with the diphoton channel limits the Higgs-charm coupling to below 47 times the standard model...

  7. Fast interpolation grids for the Drell-Yan process

    hep-ph 2025-01 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

Differential NNLO Drell-Yan interpolation grids are released, with closure tests showing sub-per-mille accuracy and a validation that PDF fits are unaffected by the K-factor approximation.

  8. QED-enhanced PDF implications for the Higgs sector

    hep-ph 2025-08 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Modern LUX-based photon PDFs in CT, MSHT and NNPDF produce consistent QED corrections to Higgs production, with a residual 3-4% spread dominated by baseline QCD PDF differences.

  9. The impact of LHC precision measurements of inclusive jet and dijet production on the CTEQ-TEA global PDF fit

    hep-ph 2024-11 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

New LHC inclusive jet data push the CT18 gluon harder at high x and shrink its uncertainty, while dijet data show stronger scale dependence and are set aside.
