abstract

We show that the anomalous couplings of $D$-brane gauge and gravitational fields to Ramond-Ramond tensor potentials can be deduced by a simple anomaly inflow argument applied to intersecting $D$-branes and use this to determine the eight-form gravitational coupling.

  1. GLSM monodromy on quantum period lattice of Calabi-Yau fourfold flops

    hep-th 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

For Calabi-Yau fourfold flops, the window-shift monodromy equals an EZ twist composed with tensoring by the canonical bundle, and in two example families this twist decomposes into spherical twists.

  2. Higher Gauge Theory via Differential Nonabelian Cohomology

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Higher gauge fields receive a global infrared completion by electromagnetic flux quantization in differential nonabelian cohomology using cohesive homotopy theory, with applications to brane charges in K-theory and Co...

  3. Monodromy of Calabi-Yau threefold flops via grade restriction rule and their quantum Kahler moduli

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Derives general formula for monodromy action on B-brane charge lattice via hemisphere partition functions in GLSMs and refines it for examples using quantum Kähler discriminant and torus link fundamental groups.

  4. Higher Superspace Supergravity and its IR-Completions

    hep-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

11D supergravity, its toroidal reductions, and M5-brane worldvolume flux are equivalent to Bianchi identities in characteristic L∞-algebras (lS4, cyc(lS4), tor(lS4), lS4S7), whose IR completions are classified by flux...

  5. Penrose limits and TsT for fibered $I$-branes

    hep-th 2025-10 unverdicted novelty 3.0 of 10

Analyzes TsT deformations and Penrose limits on fibered I-branes from prior work, finding preserved solvability when TsT precedes the limit and new asymptotically free or parallelizable sectors in the reverse order.
