abstract

We study all three-point functions of normalized chiral operators in D=4, $\mathcal{N}=4$, U(N) supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory in the large $N$ limit. We compute them for small 't Hooft coupling $\lambda=g_{YM}^2N<<1$ using free field theory and at strong coupling $\lambda=g_{YM}^2>>1$ using the $AdS$/CFT correspondence. Surprisingly, we find the same answers in the two limits. We conjecture that at least for large $N$ the exact answers are independent of $\lambda $ .

  1. Extremal couplings, graviton exchange, and gluon scattering in AdS

    hep-th 2025-05 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

Extremal bulk couplings between graviton and gluon modes are computed in F-theory AdS/CFT, yielding the graviton exchange term and a complete 1/N² correlator for the D4 theory.

  2. Two-point functions in $4-2\,\varepsilon$ dimensions from localization

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Localization yields all-loop leading-ε results for two-point functions in 4-2ε SYM that agree with flat-space perturbation at O(ε) and motivate a conjecture for the dimension-two operator at O(ε²).

  3. Loop Corrected Supercharges from Holomorphic Anomalies

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The complete one-loop supercharge for 4d Lagrangian SUSY gauge theories is derived in the holomorphic twist, packaged for N=4 SYM as a compact superfield formula.

  4. (Un)solvable Matrix Models for BPS Correlators

    hep-th 2025-08 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Proposes complex matrix models for BPS correlators in N=4 SYM, relating eigenvalue distributions to LLM droplet shapes and enabling computations of one-point functions and three-point correlators via reductions to kno...

  5. Tracing Transcendentality in Protected Correlators of N=4 SYM

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Explicit two-loop computations of protected correlators in N=4 SYM yield a universal one-loop term and a planar extrapolation at arbitrary dimension controlled by stress-tensor multiplet count.

  6. Heavy holographic correlators in defect conformal field theories

    hep-th 2026-01 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Holographic probe-brane calculations produce defect one- and two-point functions of heavy scalars that match OPE and BOE limits.
