We compute bulk 3- and 4-point tachyon correlators in the 2d Liouville gravity with non-rational matter central charge c<1, following and comparing two approaches. The continuous CFT approach exploits the action on the tachyons of the ground ring generators deformed by Liouville and matter ``screening charges''. A by-product general formula for the matter 3-point OPE structure constants is derived. We also consider a ``diagonal'' CFT of 2D quantum gravity, in which the degenerate fields are restricted to the diagonal of the semi-infinite Kac table. The discrete formulation of the theory is a generalization of the ADE string theories, in which the target space is the semi-infinite chain of points.

  1. On the Virasoro Crossing Kernels at Rational Central Charge

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 8.0

At rational central charge, the Virasoro crossing kernels decompose into two admissible square-root-branched kernels; the physical c≤1 kernels are derived for the first time.

  2. Aspects of Closed Matricial Worlds

    hep-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0

Higher-genus corrections to the 2D de Sitter disk path integral follow a universal structure that at large boundary length mimics topological gravity, with new explicit expressions through genus six.

  3. Quantum Liouville Cosmology

    hep-th 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Timelike Liouville disk path integrals in fixed K-representation produce Hartle-Hawking-like states, a conjecture for all-loop wavefunctions, and a K-independent inner product for 2D quantum cosmology.

  4. Quantum Liouville Cosmology

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0

Disk path integrals of timelike Liouville theory yield one-loop Hartle-Hawking-like wavefunctions in a fixed extrinsic-curvature representation, with a conjectured all-loop form and a K-independent pairing that may de...

  5. Timelike Liouville theory and AdS$_3$ gravity at finite cutoff

    hep-th 2025-08 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Proposes that AdS3 gravity at finite cutoff is dual to a CFT2 coupled to timelike Liouville theory deformed by a marginal operator, with checks via semiclassical partition functions and EOM matching.
