We study parity violation in graviton non-gaussianity generated during inflation. We develop a useful formalism to calculate graviton non-gaussianity. Using this formalism, we explicitly calculate the parity violating part of the bispectrum for primordial gravitational waves in the exact de Sitter spacetime and prove that no parity violation appears in the non-gaussianity. We also extend the analysis to slow-roll inflation and find that the parity violation of the bispectrum is proportional to the slow-roll parameter. We argue that parity violating non-gaussianity can be tested by the CMB. Our results are also useful for calculating three-point function of the stress tensor in the non-conformal field theory through the gravity/field theory correspondence.

  1. Probing Parity Violation with Weak Lensing Trispectrum

    astro-ph.CO 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A parity-odd weak lensing convergence trispectrum is derived and forecast to be detectable with DES Y3/LSST Y10-like surveys under optimistic template amplitudes.

  2. Nonrotating and rotating black holes with secondary disformal hair in a ghost-free metric-affine parity-violating scalar-torsion theory

    gr-qc 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Exact Schwarzschild and Kerr geometries in a disformally related frame yield secondary disformal scalar hair on black holes in a projectively invariant scalar-torsion theory.

  3. Probing P and CP Violations on the Cosmological Collider

    hep-ph 2019-09 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A rolling axion-like coupling to a massive gauge boson generates a CP-odd imaginary trispectrum of primordial fluctuations, while local four-scalar EFT operators in exact de Sitter space produce no observable signal.
