We present the predictions of ISGW2, an update of the ISGW quark model for semileptonic meson decays. The updated model incorporates a number of features which should make it more reliable, including the constraints imposed by Heavy Quark Symmetry, hyperfine distortions of wavefunctions, and form factors with more realistic high recoil behaviors.

$|V_{ub}|$ determination and testing of lepton flavour universality in semileptonic $B_c \rightarrow D^{(\ast)}$ decays
A three-point QCD sum-rule calculation of B_c to D^(*) form factors supports a new |Vub| extraction channel and predicts lepton universality ratios R_c(D^0) = 0.64 +/- 0.05 and R_c(D*) = 0.55 +/- 0.05.

Studying the tensor resonance contributions in $B \to PP\ell^+\ell^-$ and $B \to PV\ell^+\ell^-$ decays
Tensor-resonance contributions to B → PPℓ⁺ℓ⁻ and B → PVℓ⁺ℓ⁻ are small compared with measured totals once SU(3)-related B → Tℓ⁺ℓ⁻ rates are fixed to Bs → f′₂(1525)μ⁺μ⁻.
