The BFKL and the unified angular-ordered equations are solved to determine the gluon distribution at small $x$. The impact of kinematic constraints is investigated. Predictions are made for observables sensitive to the gluon at small $x$. In particular comparison is made with measurements at the HERA electron-proton collider of the proton structure function $F_2 (x, Q^2)$ as a function of $\ln Q^2$, the charm component, $F_2^c(x,Q^2)$ and diffractive $J/\psi$ photoproduction.

  1. Simultaneous Color Glass Condensate fit to deep inelastic scattering and forward hadron production at HERA, RHIC, and the LHC

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0

A simultaneous LO CGC/BK fit to HERA DIS and RHIC/LHC forward hadron production reaches χ²/dof≈1, with complementary constraints and RHIC K-factors roughly twice those at the LHC.

  2. Rotating the Color Glass Condensate

    hep-ph 2025-11 conditional novelty 6.0

A scheme transformation that rotates the operator basis of the high-energy OPE restores perturbative stability of the NLO BK equation, giving stable, positive dipole evolution up to Y=10.

  3. PDF evolution in alternative factorisation schemes

    hep-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Derives NLO splitting functions and anomalous dimensions for PDFs in alternative factorization schemes and interprets their leading x-behavior as a modified effective evolution scale.
