We present cosmological perturbation theory based on generalized gravity theories including string theory correction terms and a tachyonic complication. The classical evolution as well as the quantum generation processes in these variety of gravity theories are presented in unified forms. These apply both to the scalar- and tensor-type perturbations. Analyses are made based on the curvature variable in two different gauge conditions often used in the literature in Einstein's gravity; these are the curvature variables in the comoving (or uniform-field) gauge and the zero-shear gauge. Applications to generalized slow-roll inflations and its consequent power spectra are derived in unified forms which include wide range of inflationary scenarios based on Einstein's gravity and others.

  1. Einstein--Gauss--Bonnet Inflationary Cosmology in Phase-$\theta$ Formalism

    gr-qc 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Phase-θ formalism maps EGB inflation backgrounds to closed-form observables beyond slow-roll; Starobinsky+linear-GB fits ACT DR6 ns and r while predicting a DECIGO-accessible GW plateau.

  2. ACT Data and Positive Running of the Spectral Index for Scalar Theory and Modified Gravity

    gr-qc 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Positive running of the spectral index is achievable in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity with viable inflation, unlike standard scalar field and F(R) models which face challenges.

  3. From Quantum Correlations to Inflationary Tracking Scalar Field Evolution

    gr-qc 2026-08 reject novelty 4.0 of 10

The author argues, via condensed-matter-style analogies, that the inflationary tracking condition emerges when the correlation length of primordial quantum degrees of freedom scales as a power of the Hubble radius.

  4. Reconstructing ACT-compatible and GW170817-compatible Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Inflation from the Observational Indices

    gr-qc 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

Four Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet inflationary models are reconstructed from a chosen tensor-to-scalar ratio and shown to satisfy ACT and GW170817 constraints including scalar perturbation amplitude.

  5. Constraints on Kaniadakis Cosmology from Starobinsky Inflation and Primordial Tensor Perturbations

    gr-qc 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

Kaniadakis entropic cosmology modifies early-universe dynamics and is constrained by its predictions for Starobinsky inflation and the primordial tensor spectrum using current CMB and gravitational-wave observations.

  6. Constant-roll $\beta$-exponential inflation: Palatini formalism

    gr-qc 2026-01 reject novelty 4.0 of 10

A parameter scan of constant-roll β-exponential inflation in Palatini R² gravity claims agreement with ACT/Planck contours, but the derivation is undermined by algebraic sign errors and an absent non-Gaussianity calculation.

  7. (Lovelock)$^2$ inflation: explaining the ACT data and equivalence to Higgs-Gauss-Bonnet inflation

    gr-qc 2025-12 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

A quadratic f(L) gravity with a negative Gauss-Bonnet coupling shifts Starobinsky inflation's (n_s, r) predictions toward the ACT-preferred higher n_s, at the cost of a larger tensor-to-scalar ratio.

  8. Effective Equation of State Oscillations at Matter-Radiation Equality and Primordial Gravitational Waves

    gr-qc 2025-07 reject novelty 4.0 of 10

An exponentially deformed R^2 gravity model is claimed to produce total equation-of-state oscillations near z~3400 that enhance the primordial gravitational wave spectrum at LiteBIRD frequencies.

  9. GW170817 Viable Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Inflation Compatible with the Atacama Cosmology Telescope Data

    gr-qc 2025-06 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet inflation models with tuned small couplings can reproduce the ACT scalar spectral index and the Planck tensor-to-scalar ratio bound while keeping the gravitational wave speed within the GW170817 limit.
