abstract
We calculate the first moment of the photon structure function, $<x>^{\gamma}=\int^1_0 dx F^{\gamma}_2(x,Q^2)$, on the quenched lattices with $\beta=6.0$ using the formalism developed by the authors recently. In this exploratory study, we take into account only the connected contractions. The result is compared with the experimental data as well as model predictions.

Constraints on axion-like particles using lattice QCD calculations of the rate for $J/\psi \to \gamma a$
First lattice QCD calculation of the J/psi to gamma plus axion-like-particle form factor, with under 2% uncertainty, used to update ALP constraints.

Pion Transition Form Factor in Lattice QCD
The disconnected quark-loop contribution to the pion transition form factor has the same sign as the connected contribution, at roughly 1% of its size, as calculated on one N_f=2+1 clover ensemble.
