The limit of a large number of QCD colours gives a useful approximation scheme to the physical hadronic world. A brief overview of the mesonic sector is presented. The large-Nc constraints on the low-energy chiral couplings are summarized and the role of unitarity corrections is discussed. As an important illustration of the 1/Nc expansion techniques, the Standard Model prediction of epsilon'/epsilon is reviewed.

Study of electron-positron annihilation into four pions within chiral effective field theory in the low energy region
Chiral effective field theory and resonance chiral theory yield cross sections for e+e- to four pions that are one to two orders smaller than data, with hadronic vacuum polarization contributions to (g-2)μ of (0.680±0...

Quantum Simulation of Large N Lattice Gauge Theories
At leading order in 1/N_c, SU(3) lattice Yang-Mills reduces to a PXP spin model with one qubit per plaquette, enabling simpler quantum simulation encodings.
