We review the generalized Witten-Nester spinor stability argument for flat domain wall solutions of gravitational theories. Neither the field theory nor the solution need be supersymmetric. Nor is the space-time dimension restricted. We develop the non-trivial extension required for AdS-sliced domain walls and apply this to show that the recently proposed "Janus" solution of Type IIB supergravity is stable non-perturbatively for a broad class of deformations. Generalizations of this solution to arbitrary dimension and a simple curious linear dilaton solution of Type IIB supergravity are byproducts of this work.

  1. Optimal paths across potentials on scalar field space

    hep-th 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Optimal transport yields a generalized Wasserstein distance on field space, obtained from a WKB expansion of a Schrödinger equation and extended to dynamical gravity via the Wheeler-DeWitt equation in the ADM formalism.

  2. Positivity of holographic energy

    gr-qc 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Positivity of a weighted holographic energy is proven for 4D spacetimes with negative cosmological constant and conformally static boundaries of spherical or toroidal topology with compatible spin structure.

  3. Positivity of holographic energy

    gr-qc 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Positivity is proven for a weighted holographic energy in 4D asymptotically AdS spacetimes with conformally static boundaries of spherical or toroidal topology.
