We study the vacuum solutions of a gravity model where Lorentz symmetry is spontaneously broken once a vector field acquires a vacuum expectation value. Results are presented for the purely radial Lorentz symmetry breaking (LSB), radial/temporal LSB and axial/temporal LSB. The purely radial LSB result corresponds to new black hole solutions. When possible, Parametrized Post-Newtonian (PPN) parameters are computed and observational boundaries used to constrain the Lorentz symmetry breaking scale.

  1. Signatures of Lorentz violation in bright ring for Sgr A* images by radiation ineffective accretion flows

    astro-ph.HE 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

For a rotating Lorentz-violating black hole, increasing the LV parameter shrinks and broadens Sgr A*'s image ring, and EHT data bound the parameter over a spin-dependent range.

  2. Primordial black hole in Lorentz-violating theories: Insights from Bumblebee gravity

    gr-qc 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Bumblebee gravity enhances primordial black hole abundance through three mechanisms, but the model harbors a ghost instability and a tachyonic instability that make it cosmologically unviable.

  3. Complex bumblebee model

    hep-th 2026-03 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

A complex bumblebee model is formulated with gauge and longitudinal couplings; one-loop RG functions are derived and the leading-log effective potential indicates possible dynamical Lorentz violation.

  4. Lorentz violating quadratic gravity

    hep-th 2026-03 reject novelty 6.0 of 10

Bumblebee–quadratic gravity needs new Lorentz-violating counterterms at one loop, but the displayed computation has a gauge-parameter inconsistency and the classical Schwarzschild/de Sitter solutions are the robust part.

  5. A no-go theorem in bumblebee vector-tensor cosmology

    hep-th 2025-09 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Bumblebee gravity with non-minimal couplings is healthy only under the degeneracy σ=-ξ/2, which fixes the potential and yields a stealth de Sitter solution with scalar sound speed squared ≈1/6.

  6. Stationary scalar clouds around a rotating BTZ-like black hole in the Einstein-bumblebee gravity

    gr-qc 2025-01 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Fundamental stationary scalar clouds exist around rotating BTZ-like black holes in Einstein-bumblebee gravity, with the Lorentz-breaking parameter and angular quantum number having opposite effects and sometimes produ...

  7. Perturbative black-hole and horizon solutions in gravity with explicit spacetime-symmetry breaking

    gr-qc 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

New perturbative black hole solutions in an explicit spacetime-symmetry-breaking gravity EFT, with derived observables including three-horizon metrics when two coefficients are active.

  8. Nonrelativistic effective potential of the bumblebee model

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

The leading-order nonrelativistic potential in the bumblebee model is a Coulomb potential with charge rescaled by (1 - (mβξ/2)^2), producing a hydrogen level shift of order m^3β^2ξ^2.

  9. Exact Black Hole Solutions in Bumblebee Gravity with Lightlike or Spacelike VEVS

    gr-qc 2025-10 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

New exact Schwarzschild-like, (A)dS-like, and charged black holes in bumblebee gravity with a two-component vector VEV keep Lorentz-violating corrections even when the VEV is lightlike, with Wald and first-law entropi...

  10. Stationary scalar clouds around a rotating Kalb-Ramond BTZ black hole

    gr-qc 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

Stationary scalar clouds exist around rotating KR BTZ black holes at superradiant threshold ω=mΩ_H, with positive KR parameter allowing nonmonotonic existence lines under Robin boundaries.
