We review the theory of higher spin gauge fields in 2+1 and 3+1 dimensional anti-de Sitter space and present some new results on the structure of higher spin currents and explicit solutions of the massless equations. A previously obtained d=3 integrating flow is generalized to d=4 and is shown to give rise to a perturbative solution of the d=4 nonlinear higher spin equations. A particular attention is paid to the relationship between the star-product origin of the higher spin symmetries, AdS geometry and the concept of space-time locality.

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Higher-spin self-dual gravity arises by embedding 4D spacetime into an infinite-dimensional manifold of holomorphic planes in a boundedly deformed twistor space, with higher-spin symmetries from different embeddings a...

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Cubic vertices of arbitrary-spin massless fields in lightcone gauge are expressed as direct generalizations of abelian vertices built from linearized curvatures, yielding consistency of self-dual theories in (A)dS wit...

  3. Higher-spin composites and emergent AdS$_3$ geometry in the $(1+1)$-dimensional Gross-Neveu model

    hep-th 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

The paper proposes that condensate competition in the 2d Gross-Neveu model generates an emergent AdS₃ bulk, a higher-spin tower, D1-branes, and linearized Einstein gravity with G₃ = ℓ_AdS/4πN².

  4. Gauge transformations in Z-space in (anti)holomorphic sector of HS theory

    hep-th 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Allowing the master field Lambda to shift by exact auxiliary-space forms yields an explicit second-order field redefinition, whose z-dependent part cannot be gauged away.

  5. Wigner continuous-spin equations in $\mathbf{AdS_D}$: bosonic and fermionic cases

    hep-th 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Construction of first-class constraint systems for bosonic and fermionic continuous-spin fields in AdS_D that realize the so(2,D-1) algebra via Lie-Lorentz derivative and match Metsaev's Casimir classification.

    hep-th 2026-02 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

Deformations of the double-scaled SYK model via finite-cutoff holography produce Krylov complexity as wormhole length and realize Susskind's stretched horizon proposal through targeted T² deformations in the high-ener...

  7. Cosmological Entanglement Entropy from the von Neumann Algebra of Double-Scaled SYK & Its Connection with Krylov Complexity

    A. V. Korybut proves that Didenko's generating system for (anti)holomorphic higher-spin vertices is dx-consistent despite the failure of the Leibniz rule, using new star-exchange-like identities for the limiting star product.

  9. Yang-Mills interaction from boundary vector model

    hep-th 2025-04 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The ERG flow of the USp(2N) singlet sector of a free 3D U(2N) scalar theory yields a bulk AdS4 cubic action that is on-shell equivalent to Yang-Mills plus a field-strength-cubed term.

  10. Twistor approach to classical and quantum D0-brane

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10
