abstract
The Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE; Wright et al. 2010) satellite observed the full sky in four mid-infrared bands in the 2.8 to 28 micron range. The primary mission was completed in 2010. The WISE team have done a superb job of producing a series of high-quality, well-documented, complete Data Releases in a timely manner. However, the "Atlas Image" coadds that are part of the recent AllWISE and previous data releases were intentionally blurred. Convolving the images by the point-spread function while coadding results in "matched-filtered" images that are close to optimal for detecting isolated point sources. But these matched-filtered images are sub-optimal or inappropriate for other purposes. For example, we are photometering the WISE images at the locations of sources detected in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (York et al. 2000) through forward modeling, and this blurring decreases the available signal-to-noise by effectively broadening the point-spread function. This paper presents a new set of coadds of the WISE images that have not been blurred. These images retain the intrinsic resolution of the data and are appropriate for photometry preserving the available signal-to-noise. Users should be cautioned, however, that the W3- and W4-band coadds contain artifacts around large, bright structures (large galaxies, dusty nebulae, etc); eliminating these artifacts is the subject of ongoing work. These new coadds, and the code used to produce them, are publicly available at http://unwise.me .

A toy model of dust rings in TDEs predicts brighter IR emission on-axis, explaining X-ray/IR correlations and enabling viewing-angle constraints from observed light curves.
DESI DR1 yields 314k high-mass and 9.6k dwarf AGN, extending the M_BH-M_star relation to log M_star ~7.8 and suggesting two evolutionary pathways for galaxies and black holes.

Mid-IR search of NEOWISE yields 10 TDEs above 3e43 erg/s with volumetric rate 1.2e-10 Mpc^-3 yr^-1, showing suppression at high luminosity explained by reduced TDE rate for larger black holes.
Late-time data on SN 2017dio yield mass-loss rates of ~0.2 M_sun/yr peak and ~0.06 typical, with H-rich CSM from a companion and dust masses 0.001-0.02 M_sun, indicating sudden mass-loss increase.
DES+WISE W1/W2 photometry significantly reduces photo-z scatter, bias and outliers versus optical-only DES, while VHS adds only marginal gains at z<1.5.
Multi-wavelength analysis of SN 2024jlc classifies it as an SLSN-Ib whose light curve fits circumstellar interaction or magnetar spin-down plus nickel decay, suggesting it bridges to SE-SNe via powering mechanism.
Reports results from two searches for new radio lenses in existing surveys and discusses the completeness of the population usable for constraining dark matter properties via astrometric perturbations.
A single galaxy cluster lenses two quasars (one Type I at z=1.524, one dust-obscured Type II at z=1.939) into four images each, yielding a projected mass of ~3.3e14 solar masses within 500 kpc and time delays of hundreds to over 1000 days.
DESI will target luminous red galaxies to z=1, emission-line galaxies to z=1.7, quasars for tracers and Ly-alpha forest at 2.1<z<3.5, plus a bright galaxy survey, to obtain more than 30 million redshifts for BAO and matter power spectrum measurements.
