abstract

Two program packages are presented for evaluating one-loop amplitudes. They can work either in dimensional regularization or in constrained differential renormalization. The latter method is found at the one-loop level to be equivalent to regularization by dimensional reduction.

SubTropica

hep-th · 2026-04-22 · unverdicted · novelty 5.0

SubTropica is a software package that automates symbolic integration of linearly-reducible Euler integrals via tropical subtraction, supported by HyperIntica and an AI-driven Feynman integral database.

Constraining the real scalar singlet extension of the SM

hep-ph · 2026-06-10 · unverdicted · novelty 4.0

Real scalar singlet extension of SM permits strong first-order EWPT for singlet masses up to ~1 TeV; HL-LHC tests large fraction of space while FCC offers discovery reach.

The $Z_3$ soft breaking in the I(2+1)HDM and its cosmological probes

hep-ph · 2026-04-16 · unverdicted · novelty 4.0

Soft Z3 breaking in the I(2+1)HDM makes the lightest Z3-charged neutral scalar a dark matter candidate while allowing a long-lived opposite-CP state to contribute to relic density or yield missing-energy plus multi-lepton/jet signatures with displaced vertices at the ILC.

QED radiative corrections in inverse beta decay from virtual pions

hep-ph · 2026-04-08 · unverdicted · novelty 4.0

Pion-induced QED radiative corrections in inverse beta decay are small, at or below nucleon form factor uncertainties, enabling sub-permille theoretical precision for charged-current neutrino-nucleon scattering above 10 MeV.

Global analysis of a minimally extended scotogenic model

hep-ph · 2026-06-25 · unverdicted · novelty 3.0 · 2 refs

Global analysis constrains fermionic DM to 120-350 GeV and CP-odd scalar to 350-600 GeV in a scotogenic extension, with DESI potentially ruling out inverted neutrino hierarchy and Z invisible width compatible with data at 3 sigma.

The Monte Carlo Ecosystem in High-Energy Physics: A Primer

hep-ph · 2026-05-15 · accept · novelty 1.0

A primer by six leading developers maps the full Monte Carlo chain (matrix elements, parton showers, hadronisation, detector simulation, tuning, analysis) and the computing and reproducibility issues that come with it.
