abstract

Anti-de Sitter (AdS) vacua, being theoretically important, might have an unexpected impact on the observable universe. We find that in early dark energy (EDE) scenarios the existence of AdS vacua around recombination can effectively lift the CMB-inferred $H_0$ value. As an example, we study a phenomenological EDE model with an AdS phase starting at the redshift $z\sim2000$ and ending shortly after recombination (hereafter the universe will settle down in a $\Lambda>0$ phase until now), and obtain a best-fit $H_0=72.74$ km/s/Mpc without degrading the CMB fit compared with the standard $\Lambda$CDM model.

Harrison-Zeldovich attractor: From Planck to ACT results

astro-ph.CO · 2025-10-28 · conditional · novelty 6.0

Nonminimal derivative coupling realizes the Harrison-Zeldovich attractor for monomial, hilltop, and α-attractor E-models, pulling them to the scale-invariant spectrum suggested by ACT data.

The implications of inflation for the last ACT

astro-ph.CO · 2025-10-21 · unverdicted · novelty 5.0

A parameterized slow-roll model and a new exponential f(R) inflation model are constrained by P-ACT-LB-BK18 data, with the latter aligning to the ACT scalar spectral index preference in both standard and EDE frameworks.

The Hubble tension: A decade review

astro-ph.CO · 2026-06-18 · conditional · novelty 3.0

Pure early or late fixes to the Hubble tension are tightly constrained; remaining options are combined early-late interacting dark energy or new physics at the local-to-homogeneous transition.

Axions as Dark Matter, Dark Energy, and Dark Radiation

hep-ph · 2025-09-21 · unverdicted · novelty 2.0

A mini-review of axion phenomenology showing how light bosons can account for dark matter, drive cosmic acceleration, or contribute to relativistic backgrounds in the early and late Universe.
