In this Note we show that Einstein's equations for gravity are generically invariant under 'disformations'. We also show that the particular subclass when this is not true yields the equations of motion of 'Mimetic Gravity'. Finally we give the 'mimetic' generalization of the Schwarzschild solution.

  1. Gravitational wave constraints on the Paneitz operator

    gr-qc 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 7.0

The Paneitz operator in 4D belongs to extended mimetic gravity and is constrained by gravitational wave propagation speed.

  2. Horizon-scale tests of gravity theories and fundamental physics from the Event Horizon Telescope image of Sagittarius A$^*$

    gr-qc 2022-05 conditional novelty 5.0

EHT observations of Sgr A* constrain deviations from GR black hole solutions including regular BHs, string-inspired spacetimes, and BH mimickers, with some limits exceeding cosmological bounds.
