abstract

We propose to study the pentaquark candidates of $P_c^+(4380)$ and $P_c^+(4450)$ in $J/\psi$ photoproduction and look for further experimental evidence for their nature. Since the photoproduction process does not satisfy the so-called "anomalous triangle singularity" condition their presence in $J/\psi$ photoproduction would conclude that they should be genuine states and provide further evidence for their existence.

  1. Molecular Interpretation of the $P_c(4440)$ and $P_c(4457)$ States

    hep-ph 2019-08 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

    The paper predicts Pc(4440) has J^P = 3/2- and Pc(4457) has J^P = 1/2+ in a pion-exchange coupled-channel model without short-range terms.

  2. Radiative decays of dynamically generated pentaquarks in the chiral unitary approach: the $P_c(4457)\to P_c(4312)\,\gamma$ transition

    hep-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

The M1 radiative decay width Pc(4457)(3/2-) → Pc(4312)(1/2-)γ is computed as 6.7 keV (range 2-9 keV) via 19 triangle loops with photon coupling to molecular components.
