We study the dynamics of a massive charged scalar wave which except its canonical coupling to gravity it is also coupled kinematically to Einstein tensor. We find that as the strength of the new coupling is increased the scattered wave off the horizon of a Reissner-Nordstr\"om black hole is superradiantly amplified resulting to the instability of the Reissner-Nordstr\"om spacetime.

Strong Cosmic Censorship in Horndeski Theory
For scalar fields with non-minimal derivative coupling on Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter black holes, strong cosmic censorship is violated only when the ratio β exceeds 3/2 instead of 1/2, and small near-extremal black ...

Superradiant instability of charged scalar fields in higher-dimensional Reissner-Nordstr\"om-de Sitter black holes
Charged scalar perturbations of higher-dimensional Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter black holes are superradiantly unstable, with the growth rate increasing with spacetime dimension.
