We review the features of Dark Matter as a particle, presenting some old and new instructive models, and looking for their physical implications in the early universe and in the process of structure formation. We also present a schematic of Dark Matter searches and introduce the most promising candidates to the role of Dark Matter particle.

Revisiting the limits on dark matter annihilation cross-section and decay lifetime in light of electron and positron fluxes
Using CALET, AMS-02, DAMPE, HESS, HAWC, GRAPES-3 and CASA-MIA data, this paper derives 95% C.L. constraints on dark matter annihilation and decay up to 10^16 GeV.

Dark matter from axion and small neutrino mass
A KSVZ-like model with a fermion dark matter candidate produced by UV freeze-in through the axion portal is shown to have viable parameter space at TeV mass and axion decay constant near 10^10 to 10^11 GeV.
