Recently, based on the theory of teleparallel gravity, a simple and ghost free parity violating gravity model was proposed in [M. Li, H. Rao, and D. Zhao, J. Cosmol. Astropart. Phys. 11 (2020) 023], where the Weitzenb\"{o}ck connection was adopted for simplifying the calculations but breaks the local Lorentz symmetry explicitly. In this paper, we restore the local Lorentz symmetry of this model by giving up the Weitzenb\"{o}ck condition on the spin connection. With full local Lorentz covariance, this model is not a pure tetrad theory any more. We also apply the new version of this model to the universe with general Friedmann-Robertson-Walker background. This further generalizes the studies of [M. Li, H. Rao, and D. Zhao, J. Cosmol. Astropart. Phys. 11 (2020) 023] where only the spatially flat background was considered. Through the investigations of this paper, we confirm the results obtained in [M. Li, H. Rao, and D. Zhao, J. Cosmol. Astropart. Phys. 11 (2020) 023] and in addition get some new results.

Parity-violating spatially covariant gravity at total derivative order $d=5$
At total derivative order five, parity-violating spatially covariant gravity has exactly 59 independent monomials, and their tensor-perturbation response is controlled by four coefficient combinations producing helici...

Circularly polarized gravitational waves from parity-violating scalar-tensor theory
In the "Qi-Xiu" parity-violating scalar-tensor theory, the L3 and L4 interactions leave linear gravitational-wave propagation GR-like but still generate circularly polarized scalar-induced gravitational waves.

Realization of quintom dark energy after DESI DR2 in Nieh-Yan modified teleparallel gravity
Coupling a single fluid or scalar dark energy to the Nieh-Yan density removes its unstable perturbation, allowing a healthy quintom-B crossing and predicting gravitational-wave velocity birefringence.

Tensor induced gravitational waves
Second-order tensor-induced gravitational waves can shift the inferred parameters of small-scale primordial gravitational wave models fitted to NANOGrav 15-year data, with one model favored by Bayes factors.

Constraining parity and Lorentz violations in gravity with future ground- and space-based gravitational wave detectors
Future gravitational wave detectors could tighten constraints on parity- and Lorentz-violating energy scales by one to three orders of magnitude, with space-based detectors winning for certain frequency dependencies.
