In this work the non-abelian gauge theory is reformulated in a local inertial frame with the presence of a background rotation. With this new formalism the influence of the background rotation on the color deconfinement transition for a SU(2) pure gluon system. The KvBLL caloron, which is a color neutral and asymptotically nontrivial solution of Yang-Mills equation at finite temperature, is adopted to confine the color charges. With new solutions of the caloron's constituent particles, i.e. dyons, the semi-classical potential, which confines color charges, and the perturbative potential, induced by the Gaussian fluctuation, have been obtained for this system under rotation. By solving the critical temperature of confinement-deconfinement phase transition in different computation schemes, it is found that neither the rotational semi-classical potential nor Gaussian fluctuations can confine color charges more tightly when the rotation becomes faster. While only a stronger coupling constant is able to make the critical temperature increasing with angular velocity, as that indicated in lattice simulations. And it is also found with some particular sets of parameters, a non-monotonic dependence of the critical temperature will be obtained in the most physically realistic case, in which all the three factors are taken into account.

  1. Chromomagnetic condensation and perturbative confinement induced by imaginary rotation in SU(2) Yang-Mills Theory

    hep-ph 2026-02 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

In SU(2) Yang-Mills, imaginary rotation is shown to induce a chromomagnetic condensate and to turn the perturbative confinement transition first-order, with phase boundary approaching Ω̃_c = π/√3.

  2. A Chromomagnetic Mechanism for the Rotational Phase Transition of Gluonic Matter

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Using a rotation–magnetic holographic dictionary calibrated to lattice QCD, the paper predicts real rotation raises T_c and induces a negative total moment of inertia in pure gluonic matter near deconfinement.

  3. Dirac fermions under imaginary rotation

    hep-th 2025-02 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Under imaginary rigid rotation, free Dirac fermions in the thermodynamic limit behave like a static system at inverse temperature q beta with the same chemical potential, yielding fractal dependence on the rotation parameter.

  4. Imaginary Rotating Gluonic Matter at Strong Coupling

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

At strong coupling, imaginary rotation suppresses the Polyakov-loop interaction, so the predicted deconfinement temperature of pure gluonic matter increases with the imaginary angular velocity.

  5. Chromomagnetic Condensate in Finite-Temperature SU(2) Yang-Mills Theory under Imaginary Rotation

    hep-ph 2026-02 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

At one loop, imaginary rotation in the SU(2) Savvidy model enhances the chromomagnetic condensate and effective coupling, can suppress the Nielsen-Olesen instability in a finite window, and gives a negative moment-of-...
