Toric Ricci--flat metrics in dimension four correspond to certain holomorphic vector bundles over a twistor space. We construct these bundles explicitly, by exhibiting and characterising their patching matrices, for the five--parameter family of Riemannian ALF metrics constructed by Chen and Teo. The Chen--Teo family contains a two--parameter family of asymptotically flat gravitational instantons. The patching matrices for these instantons take a simple rational form.

  1. Schwarzschild black holes from twistor space

    hep-th 2026-07 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

The Schwarzschild metric is derived as a Kähler metric on a holomorphic 'coincidence locus' within the twistor space of self-dual Taub-NUT, solving the googly problem for this specific spacetime.

  2. New asymptotically flat gravitational instanton

    gr-qc 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

An explicit two-parameter metric is constructed for a new asymptotically flat toric gravitational instanton, the n=3 member of the Li-Sun family, with topology CP^2#CP^2 minus S^1.

  3. Gravitational Instantons, old and new

    hep-th 2025-01 unverdicted novelty 2.0 of 10

A survey of gravitational instantons in four dimensions, covering examples, classifications, and twistor constructions, with no new results.
