  1. Search for resonant production of lepton-enriched semivisible jets in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV

    hep-ex 2026-08 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A CMS search with 138 fb^-1 of 13 TeV data finds no lepton-enriched semivisible jet resonance and excludes Z' masses up to 4.7 TeV (SVJ l) and 1.8-3.5 TeV (SVJ tau) at 95% CL.

  2. Jet fragmentation function and groomed substructure of bottom quark jets in proton-proton collisions at 5.02 TeV

    hep-ex 2025-11 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

CMS measures soft-drop groomed radius and momentum balance plus a charged fragmentation function for b jets, observing dead-cone suppression compared to inclusive jets.

  3. Search for dark photons in decays of Higgs bosons produced in association with Z bosons in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV

    hep-ex 2019-08 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

At 95% confidence, fewer than 4.6% of 125 GeV Higgs bosons decay to a photon plus an invisible massless dark photon, based on 137 fb^-1 of CMS data.

  4. Search for heavy neutral resonances decaying to tau lepton pairs in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV

    hep-ex 2024-12 accept novelty 4.0 of 10

Using 138 fb^-1 of 13 TeV proton-proton collisions, CMS finds no tau-pair resonance and sets its strongest limit yet on Z' bosons.

  5. Search for supersymmetry in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV in final states with jets and missing transverse momentum

    hep-ex 2019-08 accept novelty 4.0 of 10

A 137 fb^-1 CMS search in the jets-plus-missing-momentum final state finds no supersymmetry excess and sets new 95% CL lower limits of up to 2310 GeV on the gluino mass and 1630 GeV on the squark mass.
