  1. Casimir effect for a massive scalar field confined between parallel plates with a spatially varying effective mass

    hep-th 2026-07 reject novelty 5.0

A claimed exact Casimir energy for a scalar field with a quadratic position-dependent mass is derived, but the conversion from continuum to discrete transverse modes uses an unproven Landau-style measure.

  2. Thermal Casimir Effect in A Schwarzschild-like Wormhole Spacetime

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Calculates renormalized Casimir free energy and thermodynamic quantities for a scalar field in a wormhole spacetime at finite temperature, finding geometry-independent thermal corrections in the comoving frame.

  3. Anomalous-magnetic-moment-enhanced Casimir effect

    hep-ph 2025-07 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Anomalous magnetic moment of Dirac fermions enhances fermionic Casimir energy under magnetic fields via gapless lowest Landau level behavior.
