Generalized parton distributions (GPDs) enter QCD factorization theorems for hard exclusive reactions. They encode rich information about hadron partonic structure. We explore a possibility to constrain GPDs in experiments at LHC considering two different exclusive processes: the timelike Compton scattering and the photoproduction of heavy vector mesons.

  1. Relativistic corrections and high-energy resummation for exclusive heavy quarkonium photoproduction

    hep-ph 2026-07 accept novelty 5.0 of 10

The O(v²) correction to the high-energy-resummed coefficient function for exclusive heavy-quarkonium photoproduction is derived and shown to be small but useful for stabilizing μ_F dependence.

  2. How to include exclusive $J/\psi$ production data in global PDF analyses

    hep-ph 2019-08 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Exclusive J/psi photoproduction at HERA is consistent with global PDFs at NLO when the optimal scale and a Q0 subtraction are used, enabling low-x gluon extraction.

  3. Towards a determination of the low $x$ gluon via exclusive $J/\psi$ production

    hep-ph 2019-07 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

A Q0 cut accounts for numerically important power-suppressed corrections in exclusive J/ψ photoproduction coefficient functions, improving stability for low-x gluon constraints.
