States on the Coulomb branch of N=4 super-Yang-Mills theory are studied from the point of view of gauged supergravity in five dimensions. These supersymmetric solutions provide examples of consistent truncation from type IIB supergravity in ten dimensions. A mass gap for states created by local operators and perfect screening for external quarks arise in the supergravity approximation. We offer an interpretation of these surprising features in terms of ensembles of brane distributions.

  1. Sharpened Dynamical Cobordism

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 7.0

Sharpened Dynamical Cobordism ties the allowed range of critical exponent δ to theory structure ξ, flagging obstructions from non-trivial cobordism charges that require new degrees of freedom.

  2. Supergravity flows, wormholes and their pseudo-Hermitian holographic duals

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Supergravity truncations admit real-metric wormhole and flow solutions via imaginary scalar extensions, interpreted as dual to pseudo-Hermitian PT-symmetric theories and entangled brane-antibrane states.

  3. Supersymmetric AdS Solitons, Coulomb Branch Flows and Twisted Compactifications

    hep-th 2025-11 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Constructs holographic supergravity solutions for supersymmetric RG flows from 4D SCFTs to confining 3D SQFTs, with universal factorization of observables.

  4. Supersymmetric Moduli Space and Vacua with Vector Fields in $D=4$ Gauged $\mathcal{N}=8$ Supergravity

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 5.0

Four-charge supersymmetric AdS solitons in the dilatonic STU model have a compact moduli space fixed by |ψ₁|+|ψ₂|+|ψ₃|+|ψ₄|=√2 L, with scalar VEVs determined by the Wilson lines.

  5. Supergravity flows, wormholes and their pseudo-Hermitian holographic duals

    hep-th 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Supergravity truncations admit real-metric wormhole solutions via imaginary scalar extensions whose holographic duals are pseudo-Hermitian and PT-symmetric, interpretable as entangled brane states.

  6. Dilatonic states, phase transitions, and criticality in holography

    hep-th 2026-07 accept novelty 3.0

A review of holographic examples indicating that a light dilaton appears near critical endpoints of first-order zero-temperature phase transitions, with explicit but lower-dimensional demonstrations.
