Using effective field theory methods, we discuss the extraction of the mass and width of the scalar mesons f0(980) and a0(980) from the finite-volume spectrum in lattice QCD. In particular, it is argued that the nature of these states can be studied by invoking twisted boundary conditions, as well as investigating the quark mass dependence of the spectrum.

Numerical exploration of three relativistic particles in a finite volume including two-particle resonances and bound states
A principal-value prescription shift lifts the restriction against two-particle bound states and resonances in the relativistic three-particle quantization condition, enabling new numerical spectra and extracted dimer...

Universal parameters of the $\Lambda(1380)$, the $\Lambda(1405)$ and their isospin partners from a combined analysis of Lattice QCD and experimental results
A combined global fit of lattice QCD spectra and experimental Kbar N data within chiral unitary approaches gives pole positions for the Lambda(1380) and Lambda(1405) at physical and lattice quark masses, with systemat...

Probing the Universe's Topology through a Quantum System?
A toy model shows that cosmic topology alters the bound-state energy of a 3D Dirac delta potential by a coefficient C_Γ=6 for the 3-torus and C_Γ=4 for the half-turn space, suppressed by exp(-L/g_R).

Implementing the RFT finite-volume formalism for three pions across all non-maximal isospins
A numerical implementation of the RFT quantization condition yields finite-volume three-pion spectra for isospins 0, 1, and 2 with three-particle interactions turned off.

From scattering towards multi-hadron weak decays
