We consider quantum corrections for the Schwarzschild black hole metric by using the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) to investigate quasinormal modes, shadow and their relationship in the eikonal limit. We calculate the quasinormal frequencies of the quantum-corrected Schwarzschild black hole by using the sixth-order Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation, and also perform a numerical analysis that confirms the results obtained from this approach. We also find that the shadow radius is nonzero even at very small mass limit for finite GUP parameter.

Hair imprints of the gravitational decoupling and hairy black hole spectroscopy
The quasinormal mode frequencies of three gravitational-decoupling hairy black holes differ from matched Reissner-Nordström black holes by more than the estimated WKB error for the first metric, giving a theoretical h...

Geodesic dynamics in brane-de Sitter wormholes
For an asymptotically de Sitter brane wormhole, the throat is shown to be an unstable fixed point and photon sphere, with a claimed Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation for radial null geodesics.

Scalar quasinormal modes, Lyapunov exponents and radii of null geodesics of rotating regular black holes
The paper computes scalar quasinormal modes of rotating Bardeen and Hayward black holes and finds they follow the eikonal null-geodesic relations, with Bardeen deviations up to about 19% from Kerr.
