The main theoretical aspects of gravitoelectromagnetism ("GEM") are presented. Two basic approaches to this subject are described and the role of the gravitational Larmor theorem is emphasized. Some of the consequences of GEM are briefly mentioned.

Stationary solutions in the small-$c$ expansion of GR
The NLO/NNLO small-c (Carroll) expansion of GR admits a rich stationary vacuum sector with rotating Lense-Thirring-type, C-metric-type, Hartle-Thorne-type, and higher-multipole solutions, going beyond the static magne...

The role of Wigner rotation in estimating the specific angular momentum of a Kerr spacetime
A geodesic interferometer with a single photon in Kerr spacetime uses combined time-delay and polarization-rotation phases to estimate specific angular momentum with uncertainty characterization.

Elliptically Polarized Plane Gravitational Waves
Exact elliptically polarized plane gravitational wave solutions exhibit a cosmic jet effect: generic timelike and null geodesics asymptotically align with the propagation direction at speed c.

Nonlocal Gravitomagnetism
In the linearized regime of nonlocal gravity, the gravitomagnetic field of a rotating mass acquires a tiny nonlocal correction, below one part in 10^10 of the general-relativistic value for Earth and Moon.

Generic Peculiar Motions in FLRW Spacetimes
Fermi coordinates around a boosted cosmic test mass in FLRW spacetime produce a circular gravitomagnetic field absent in the comoving frame.

Newtonian Potential in Weyl Gravitoelectromagnetism
In Weyl gravitoelectromagnetism, the Newtonian potential is claimed to be suppressed by a factor tanh(βm/2) at finite temperature, vanishing in the hot limit.

Non-trivial boundary conditions in general-relativistic models
Boundary conditions in GR for axially symmetric rotating dust can reproduce effects usually attributed to dark matter.

Diffeomorphism-Like Symmetry in Gravitoelectromagnetism
GEM with restricted gauge symmetry yields a propagator resembling the linearized GR graviton propagator, couples to matter via energy-momentum tensors, and satisfies Ward identities under consistent gauge fixing.

Little Red reionization factories
LRDs may drive cosmic reionization: tidal fields are said to funnel intergalactic hydrogen into colliding streams at LRD sites, igniting starbursts that ionize the gas.

Non-Null Torus Knotted Gravitational Waves from Gravitoelectromagnetism
The paper constructs torus-knotted gravitational monochromatic waves by extending known electromagnetic knot fields through gravitoelectromagnetism, but the resulting metric fails the stated field equations.

Gravitational Compton scattering at zero and finite temperature
The authors derive a gravitational analogue of Compton scattering in GEM theory, obtaining a zero-temperature cross section (Eq. 48) and a finite-temperature correction factor α(β) via Thermo Field Dynamics.

Linearized Analysis of Rastall Gravity
The proposed linearized Rastall metric, with parameters α and β that differ from their general-relativity values, contradicts the trace of Rastall's own field equations for nonzero λ.

Inertia
Intrinsic spin couples to gravity via rotation, producing a mass-independent gravitomagnetic Stern-Gerlach force that violates free-fall universality, but at an unmeasurably small level.

Conservation of energy-momentum of matter as the basis for the gauge theory of gravitation
A review of how conservation of energy-momentum and translation invariance motivate gauge theories of gravity, including teleparallelism and Poincaré gauge theory.
